Project Salina’s Souper Bowl of Hope
Project Salina’s 2026 “Souper Bowl of Hope”
The Project Salina board invites the Salina community to join us in our mission to collect 60,000 cans of soup in January and February. A $30 donation enables us to purchase 50 cans of soup.
Both the Souper Bowl of Hope (which focuses on collecting soup) and Project Salina are organized by the Project Salina board, but they are separate efforts. Each operates its own account while supporting the same local agencies. By contributing to Project Salina and the Souper Bowl of Hope, you help provide nutritious, high-quality food to those in need—every donation truly makes a difference!
If you’d like to volunteer at a Dillon’s store to help collect donations during the times listed below, please email soupebowlhopesalina@gmail.com and a board member will contact you with more information. Volunteers will be collecting cash and food donations at all three Salina Dillon’s locations during these dates/times in 2026:
Saturday, January 24 (10am-6pm)-- Souper Bowl Collection
Sunday, January 25 (1pm-5pm) -- Souper Bowl Collection
Saturday, January 31 (10am-6pm) -- Souper Bowl Collection
Sunday, February 1 (1pm-5pm) -- Souper Bowl Collection
Saturday, February 7 (10am-6pm) -- Final Day, Souper Bowl Collection
If you’re unable to drop off your soup donation during the scheduled collection times, please email soupebowlhopesalina@gmail.com, and a board member will reach out to arrange pickup. Cash donations are welcome anytime—just mail your check (payable to Souper Bowl of Hope) to:

PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL CHECKS ARE MADE OUT TO SOUPER BOWL OF HOPE!
You can also take cash/checks to Central National Bank (454 S. Ohio, by Water’s True Value). Please put “Kristina Litchman, Souper Bowl” on the envelope and note who the envelope is from so you can get credit for the deposit. You can drop it off in the drive through or take it inside.
